The ability to pursue a dream is not easy. It takes hard work, dedication, and a will to succeed. The ability to pursue a dream starts with one word, ambition. Ambition is a very important tool to be a success in life. Success comes with hard work, sacrifice, and those traits aren’t easy to have, or even develop in time; at least not in today’s society.

Society today as a whole has one major problem, the ability to dedicate themselves to society. What propose does an unemployed welfare recipient have in society? How do they contribute to society? These are the questions that need to be asked of everyone that doesn’t feel obligated to take care of their family, or even themselves. It starts with ambition, the want and will to accomplish something everyday. Whether that’s getting up and going to work to support your family, or doing a task to change your life in a positive way. By nature the human spices has a selfish part to them. We want to be as comfortable in our lives as possible. No human will choose another human over themselves. It’s instinct to survive at any cost. This instinct will never let us serve the “greater good.” We will only serve ourselves. The problem is Americans today want to be given the product of another man’s labor. He doest want to perform a task and create his own product he wants to let another man work, and claim a portion of his product. One might ask what threat does this pose to society? Well it sends a message that society as a whole doesn’t need to contribute to society just let society (Government) take care of them. Now lets say this “unambishous” attitude takes over 51% of the people. What will happen then? Now there are more people not contributing society, so society fails as a whole. This can be avoided by peoples contributing to society everyday ,and striving to be excellent.

Ambition is needed in a very desperate way. Ambition is the root to all success. Success makes society a better functioning machine, which in hand makes America a better land to live in. Ambition will take us as a nation, continent, and world to a higher standard of living.

The nation is under economic strain. We’re fighting a war on two fronts. American citizens are uncertain about their jobs, some are even more uncertain about when they will get back to work after being laid off. The scarier issue at hand is that our president, his administration, and the house have no course of action that has paid any dividends yet. Barack Obama has spent 3.6 trillion dollars in stimulus, and we are no better off now than we were four months ago. People often mutter to themselves “those no good politicians”. Well in this case their right. Where is the leadership in Washington? It’s not in the White House, or the senate, or even in the Republican Party. Being conservative use to mean something. What happened to standing up against abortion, gay-marriage, and big government .We are a nation that has a government not the other way around. I am almost certain I have heard that before. Were conservatives we don’t want the indiviual to be overtaxed, we want him to keep more of the product of his labor, so he can support his family. We as conservatives need to defend the constitution, not help tarnish it with the left-wingers. We in this state, West Virginia need to unite, and if your moderate or you don’t think you can do the things I have just stated, then get to the left. We need true conservatives to win the next cycle of elections.

Rights and Responsibilities

The common belief in the nation is that healthcare is a right. An even scarier belief is that it is the government’s job to give this so-called “right” to every American, whether they want it or not. The sad thing is that most people, because of overtaxation on this so-called “right”, won’t be able to afford private sector healthcare. Many people are saying, “Well, I can afford healthcare without the government,” - well, that doesn’t matter, because you won’t be able to after the healthcare industry is socialized. When, all of a sudden, am I responsible for “Joe Bum” on the street? In other words, person “A” is responsible for person “B” now. Let’s say person “B” goes to a buffet seven nights a week for three hours a night for the last 20 years of his life, and eats himself to the point where he is filled up with heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure. Now he goes to district whatever and demands to be treated. Who will pay for that treatment? The government. Where did the government get the money to pay for his health care? Well, from YOU, the taxpayer. So now, all of a sudden, he has the “RIGHT” to be treated, but you have the responsibility to pay for his treatment; all of a sudden, the government is making person “A” responsible for person “B.” This is another good one: person “B” is a bit too promiscuous and ends up with HIV/AIDS. So now you, the taxpayer, are paying for a lifestyle choice. He has the “RIGHT” to be promiscuous, but you have the responsibility to pay for it. Once again, person “A” is responsible for person “B.” Person “A” can’t do a damn thing about what person “B” does or the lifestyle he chooses to lead. The only thing the individual responsible for is himself, or his family. Remember, person “A” is not responsible for person “B”, and anyone that thinks otherwise does not believe in individual freedoms and liberties-plus, you are a Marxist!!!!!!!!

Devil Deals

I am sure many Americans are aware that Arlen Specter joined forces with the pseudo-intellectual liberals of big Washington politics yesterday. However, I am glad that one more problem with the Republican party has been eliminated. Some Republicans are worried that Specter joining the Democrats in Congress is a bad thing because he is one of the final pieces of the puzzle to make 60 members, which in turn gives Nazi Pelosi and Harry Reid a filibuster in the Senate. I, however, am not worried about a old fool like Specter. He is selling his soul to the evil Democrats, not because he is trying to help the country, but because he is trying to help himself. He is the poster child for the problems within Washington today. I say, let the Democrats get a filibuster; hell, let Al Frankin be in the Senate tomorrow! It won’t matter: the entire nation will soon see that this country will not survive under the elitist liberal rule in Washington, and the mid-term elections will reflect that. The American people will realize in four years that the United States will have to get back to the principles it was founded on.

The Movement

The tea parties showed that the nation is not caught up in what I like to call “Obamamania” anymore. Last Wednesday, the nation showed that they aren’t going to be subjected to this “JOKE” of a presidency anymore. This was a movement that more than just conservatives were a part of last Wednesday. I am glad to see that this was a punch back at the movement that our president started some ten months ago. The left is in retreat, and they should be. How did the left counter what happened last Wednesday? They just called the “RIGHT” people, like Andrew Wilkow, Mark Levin, Ann Coulter, and myself, plus millions of American radical right-wing nuts. Well, we started a movement - maybe the biggest conservative movement since the “REAGAN REVOLUTION.” To anyone that went to the tea parties: well, let’s just say that you are patriotic for standing up to the over-expansion of government and the Marxist of a president we elected last November.

When the LEFT starts a movement, they are considered trendsetters; when the “RIGHT” starts a movement, they are radical terrorists.

(At least that’s what CNN “feels.”)

Being a Conservative

What is a conservative? That is a question asked by many people in our country today. The reason these people don’t know is because the Republican Party doesn’t know in a lot of cases. We, as a party, must establish our identity and stop being caught up in the mushy middle. The mushy middle lost John McCain the 2008 election and does absolutely nothing for our country. In other words, if you stand in the middle of the road, you will get run over!

Being a conservative is basically being intellectually-inclined, and thinking rationally. Most importantly, it’s thinking with your brain, not your heart. Letting passion drive your arguments is one thing, but letting it run your thought process is a whole other story. Most of the time when you debate or discuss an issue with the typical liberal, you will hear arguments such as “I feel”, or, “we all need to”, or, a very common one is, “they cheated to get where they are”. You see, liberals feel that anyone who is at the top had to step on someone to get there. They want the people to believe that all achievers didn’t rightfully earn their wealth or their status. Liberals feel everyone is the same and equal. That’s the attitude that will make this country a living nightmare. We live in the greatest country in the world, and liberals don’t realize that we have walls keeping people out; most countries have walls keeping people in. If you let this country run on what separates us from the rest of the world, then we will continue to be the elite among the rest. If you don’t like capitalism or the Constitution, then get the hell out! This country doesn’t need to be fundamentally changed - it needs to get back to what made and makes it great!
